Draft terms

These terms are a draft and are not yet in force.

They summarise how the packages are intended to work. The decisions marked below must be completed and the terms reviewed, ideally by a solicitor, before live payments are taken.

  1. 1. Initial commitment and renewal

Each package has an initial commitment of 12 months from the start date, billed monthly.

Starter: £49 a month. Minimum initial cost £787, including the setup fee.

Plus: £89 a month. Minimum initial cost £1,267, including the setup fee.

Pro: £149 a month. Minimum initial cost £1,987, including the setup fee.

Decision needed: When does the start date fall (payment, launch or agreement)? What happens after 12 months: rolling monthly, annual renewal, and with what notice?

  2. 2. Setup and recurring charges

A one-off setup fee of £199 is paid online at sign-up.

Monthly charges are taken automatically by card through Stripe, starting 30 days after sign-up.

Domain registration and renewal, extra Microsoft 365 users, email migration, additional calls and out-of-scope work are quoted and charged separately.

Decision needed: Confirm when the 12-month term starts (sign-up or first monthly payment), price review terms, failed-payment handling and VAT treatment.

  3. 3. Cancellation and early termination

Cancellation during the initial commitment and the charges that apply are set out here once finalised.

Decision needed: Whether early termination is allowed, what is owed if so, refund of the setup fee if the website isn't delivered, and consumer cancellation rights where a customer is not acting as a business.

  4. 4. Live within 48 hours

Live within 48 hours. Counted from when we have your setup payment, your photos and business details, and access to your domain. Domain registration or transfer delays, and changes you request, can add time.

Decision needed: What happens if the 48-hour target is missed for reasons within your control (for example a credit or refund).

  5. 5. Website ownership and handover

Ownership of the website design, content and code, and what is handed over if the service ends, are set out here once finalised.

Decision needed: Does the customer own the website at the end of the term, or can they buy it out? Is the site handed over as files, transferred to another host, or switched off on cancellation?

  6. 6. Domains

Domains are registered in the customer's business name, so the customer owns them.

Where we manage a domain for you, we'll help you transfer it if the service ends.

  7. 7. Third-party licences and services

Microsoft 365 licences are supplied subject to Microsoft's licensing and service terms.

Phone numbers are supplied subject to the telephone provider's availability and terms.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store card details.

Decision needed: Name the Microsoft licence supplier route and phone provider, and what happens to the mailbox, data and number if the service ends.

  8. 8. Phone usage and additional charges

Pro includes a monthly call allowance, confirmed before purchase. Calls beyond the allowance are charged at published rates.

Decision needed: Set the allowance (minutes) and the additional call rates.

  9. 9. Website update allowance

Pro includes up to 60 minutes of website content changes each month: existing text, images, contact details and similar edits.

Unused time does not roll over. New pages, redesigns and new functionality are quoted separately.

  10. 10. Support scope and hours

Support requests can be submitted at any time. People respond during published UK business hours.

Pro support covers the website, supplied email, Microsoft 365 setup and supplied phone service. It doesn't cover on-site visits, general business administration or every device and application.

Decision needed: Publish support hours and any response-time targets you are prepared to commit to.

  11. 11. Analytics and performance reports

Pro includes website analytics and a monthly performance breakdown. These report how the website is performing; they don't include advertising, SEO campaigns or any guarantee of traffic or enquiries.

Decision needed: Choose the analytics tool and confirm whether it needs a cookie consent banner.

  12. 12. Data handling and account access

We only ask for the information needed to build and run your services.

We never ask for passwords by email, phone or form. Where access is needed, you grant it yourself.

Photos and files you upload are stored privately and used only for your website.

Decision needed: Data retention periods, data processing terms for Microsoft 365 and phone services, and where data is stored.
